For the following project, we took newspapers and made 4 to 5 collages. I did my best to utilize color , i found color to be more exaggerated and made things pop. Other then color, i found that font size highlighted certain areas and made parts of the piece look dense or more open. I my favorite was the 8x8. I used black background with white lettering on normal newspaper attempting to cover a red mess that i made previously. To my advantage the small red remains peeking out between the black and white newspaper gave the piece a little more excitement.
